DIY Craft Tutorials: How to Make your Own Hand Stamped Clothes & Fabric

Make your own custom fabric by using stamps. This is a great way to save on fabric while still making neat designs and it's a great craft project that even kids can do!

What you'll need:

Durable Cotton fabric or muslin

Fabric Archival ink

Stamp of your choice

Iron board or flat surface

Iron

1. Iron your fabric by putting it on the cotton setting. You will want your fabric to be nice and smooth, in order to ensure a smooth design.

2. Make sure your stamp is clean and clear of any debris or ink stains.

3. Ink your stamp and make even stamp marks with your stamp by creating designs in a row. Use a ruler and sewer's chalk to mark your place and create your stamp marks evenly.

4. Allow stamp ink to dry. After about a few hours, wash your fabric and iron them to ensure the ink can not be removed from the fabric.
