When you need to store your CDs, buying cases can be expensive, especially if you want to add a theme or decorate them. A great alternative is to make them out of scrapbook paper. You can by themed scrapbook paper with all different types of designs on them for a neat gift or commercial product. Here's how to make them.

What you'll need:
One 12" by 12" sheet of scrapbook paper
Glue
Scissors
Measuring tape or Ruler

1. Measure the width and the height of the CD. Draw a square on your scrapbook paper with the dimensions of the CD.
2. Draw a square next to your each side of your original square measuring half the height and width of your original square.
3. Add a triangle to the top of your original square measuring 1/3 of the height of your original square.
4. Add a small horizontal slit 1/3 of the way down to the outer edge of each flap. This will be where the tip of the triangle will slip into, making an enclosure for your CD case.
5. Cut the drawing out, making an outline that looks like the one above.
6. Fold the two flaps inward and glue the edges of the flaps together. Make sure not to glue over your slits.
7. Fold the triangle flap down and push it through your slits.
8. When the glue dries your CD case should be ready to use.
