How to make picture soap: Custom pictures in your soap

Make your own custom soaps by adding your favorite images. This is a fun and easy way to create a personalized gift that your friends and family can use.

Here's what you'll need:

Water soluble paper. (Find it at brambleberry.com)
Square soap mold
Image of your choice
Clear glycerin soap base (Try Life of the Party soap base)
White glycerin soap base (Also Life of the Party)
Blue soap coloring
Rubbing Alcohol in a spray bottle


  1. Print out your image approximately the size of the soap mold onto your printable water soluble paper. 
  2. Start by melting your white soap base according to the directions. Pour the white soap base into your soap mold filling it up three quarters of the way.
  3. Allow the soap to dry for about 1 hour. 
  4. Place your image on top of the soap mold carefully as to position it properly onto the soap.
  5. Melt your clear soap base and cover the picture by filling it up to the top of the soap mold.
  6. Add a drop of blue coloring to the soap mold and spray one spray of rubbing alcohol to your soap mold
  7. Allow it to set for about a few hours in the refrigerator.
  8. Once it is fully dried. Pop it out of the mold and gift wrap your new customized soap!
