How to wrap soap: Handmade Soap Packaging Ideas

Part of the fun of making handmade soap is packaging it. There's nothing like a good package to present your soap to friends, family and customers.

Here are a few tips:

Scrapbook paper isn't just for saving memories. You can wrap your soap in these pre-decorated sheets to add an extra bit of art to them. You can fully wrap them or slide your soap through them as ARTerEgo has done.

Bowties always seem to go with presents. Center your soap in a long strip of decorated fabric and wrap a tie around it to give it a custom look.

For a clean and classy look, cream wrapping paper is a good way to go. You can add a detailed message, product info or a personalized logo on a piece of sticky paper, cut it out and attach it to your soap.

For a very natural look, you can go with the simple twine wrap. Place your twine in the middle of the top of your soap, wrap around horizontally then come back vertically and tie a bow on top.

Fabric slip wrap packaging is another great way to decorate your soaps. Add a rugged  or vintage theme by using old clothing, linens or even embroidery to add a neat design to your packaging.
